About Our Programs
At the Gambino Medical and Science Foundation we are dedicated to fostering an environment of hope, instilling courage, and building resilience in the hearts of the children we serve. Our mission is powered by the generous hearts of our donors, whose contributions have helped us raise millions of dollars for the Cohen Children’s Medical Center of Northwell Health (CCMC).
Recognized as the largest provider of pediatric medical care in New York State, CCMC has consistently ranked among the country’s best children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report since 2007. It is our honor to offer our donors and supporters the chance to fund critical pediatric services that deliver exceptional, compassionate care in a comforting and inviting environment.
Guided by the insightful leadership team and skilled physicians at CCMC, we’ve been able to support a range of specific programs including:
- The Gambino Medical & Science Foundation Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit under the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation
- The Gambino Medical & Science Foundation Trauma and Imaging Center under the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Juvenile Diabetes Center under the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology
- Complementary and Alternative Medicine for Children with ADHD under Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics
- Epilepsy Treatment Program under the Division of Pediatric Neurology
- Staffing for the Child Life and Creative Art Therapies Program
